It's now the turn of the older Samsung devices to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The latest software update brings an overhauled UI as well as a slew of new features, and it looks like some of our maple syrup-loving neighbors up north have also started getting the update. This time, Verizon is the one rolling out the update for the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 owners. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on AT&T and Verizon is one such example, but it certainly looks as though all of the agonized waiting is about to come to an end.

As for the build number is concerned, the Galaxy Note 5 is receiving the N920W8VLU4CQC9 build and the Galaxy S6 Edge is getting N920W8VLU4CQC9. This flagship Galaxy Note device might be aged, but that does not mean it is out of the equation, either.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, leave us a comment if you have seen the update and don't forget to share your Nougat experience with us! Not only that, one will also be able to edit and markup PDFs, not to mention receiving superior battery management tools with an improved performance. The OS weighs about 1GB and like the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+, it is coming over the air. The carrier has already updated the official pages for the two phones, confirming that the update is indeed rolling out. Users of the Sprint HTC One M9 are now being upgraded to the Android 7.0 Nougat OS! However, some Galaxy S6 users have chimed in the thread to vent their jealousy as they have yet to see the update on their device.

Sprint has also not forgotten about the HTC One M9, as the mobile carrier continues to work on its Android 7.0 Nougat update releases.

AT&T's changelog for the Galaxy S6 edge+ has been updated with build number NRD90M at 1.51GB.
